Review Bid Recommendations – Stickney Project

Paul Williams and Jim Weber with Puetz, Inc. who was hired as the Construction Manager at Risk for the Corsica & Stickney projects met with the board to give them the results of recent bid opening for the Stickney site project. After the bids came in higher than estimated the board had asked them to go back and find areas of cost savings so the bids could come within budget. They were able to do some value engineering and make some changes to the designs that would lessen the final bill. After some discussion on what options to accept and which ones to leave the following motions were made.

Motion by Clites second by Tolsma to remove the shop addition from the Corsica site project. This would reduce the project by approximately $220,000.00. All members voted AYE. Motion carried.
