Approve Agenda

Motion by Tolsma seconded by Van Gorp to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.

Building Options Direction

Superintendent Muckey gave an overview of the potential projects as well as the history of the district as a whole. He recommended to the board they would move forward on the two site option as that would be more beneficial to the district as a whole. President Wright asked for a motion to move forward with the two site plan as recommended and Tolsma made that motion. Three of the board members at this point spoke up that they were uncomfortable voting on just a one site or two site option. They wanted to specify which grades would be at each site as well as part of the vote. It was determined that further cost analysis would need be completed in order to specify grade specifics. At this point in the meeting it was deemed best to table the motion until the next board meeting.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 8:41 p.m., motion by Lagge seconded by Plooster to adjourn.  Motion carried. The next regular meeting date will be on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. in Classroom “A” of the Corsica-Stickney High School instead of Monday, April 12, 2021 due to scheduling conflicts.
