UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – JANUARY 28, 2021 – 7:30 P.M. – CLASSROOM “A” – CORSICA-STICKNEY HIGH SCHOOL

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Thursday, January 28, 2021– 8:00 p.m. in Classroom “A” of Corsica-Stickney High School.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President; Chad Clites, Jason Lagge, Darci Neugebauer, Micheal Plooster, Shannon Tolsma, & Jennifer Van Gorp

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Superintendent; Brittney Eide, Secondary Principal; Ferra Kemp, Elementary Principal and Angie Feenstra, Business Manager.

Guests Present: Robyn & Seth Denning, Joe Koch, Matt Mulder, & John Nydam

President Wright called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. and a quorum was established.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Tolsma seconded by Lagge to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.

Reflection of January 20, 2021 Meeting

The Corsica-Stickney Board of Education met to discuss questions/concerns that have been brought to them since the January 20, 2021 meeting. An extensive list of topics was covered including grade configuration, preschool, auxiliary gym/weight room, financing, voting stipulations, and staff concerns. A survey will be sent to all registered voters of the school district to hopefully receive some constructive feedback for the board.

The board did allow time for public comment/questions after their discussion. No action was taken.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 9:50 p.m., motion by Van Gorp seconded by Plooster to adjourn. Motion carried. The next regular meeting date will be Monday, February 8, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. in Classroom “A” of the Corsica-Stickney High School.
