Representatives
from the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams as well as supporting community
members met with the board to discuss the possibility of a mask mandate at all
games and removing the ticket limitation. The student athletes would like to see more
people be able to come to their games, however they want to keep everybody’s
safety the main priority. The student athletes also understand that if a game
is predicted to bring a large crowd that limiting attendance would still be an
option as well. The board thanked them for their input and a decision will be
made later in the meeting.
Motion
by Van Gorp seconded by Plooster to approve the agenda with additions as

Principal

went extremely well.
Principal
Eide reported that the junior high and high school students have been very busy
with community service projects. Recent ones that they have been working on are
blankets to Leisure Living/Nursing Home, clothing drives, and Christmas card
drives. Ms. Payer has been busy getting students prepared for college. Signing
up for dual credits has been a little more extensive since many of the test the
students need to take have been postponed due to the pandemic.
Building
Committee
The
building committee has met with the architects and construction manager a
couple different times. The three options are getting closer to finalized which
allows the construction manager to put some pricing to those options. The
committee would like the information to all be ready for public review in the
near future.
Winter
Sports/Activities Attendance
The
attendance procedure for winter sports/activities will be updated as follows:
masks will be required for all in attendance, tickets will no longer be limited
however the admin does reserve the right to limit if deemed the attendance
would be too large with no limitations in place.
