UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – JANUARY 3, 2019 – 6:00 P.M. – CLASSROOM “A” – CORSICA-STICKNEY HIGH SCHOOL

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in Classroom “A” of Corsica-Stickney High School.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President; Chad Clites, Shannon Tolsma, Nicole Bamberg, Don Odens & Jennifer Van Gorp

Members Absent: Jason Lagge

Officers and Others Present: Scott Muckey, Superintendent; Andrew Fergen, High School Principal

President Wright called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and a quorum was established.

Open Forum/Public Discussion

No public comments during open forum.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Tolsma seconded by Bamberg to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

There were no conflicts of interest to disclose.

E-Rate

Motion by Bamberg seconded by Van Gorp to allow Mike Tuschen, technology coordinator, to pursue E-rate funding options for network upgrades. Motion carried.

Executive Session – SDCL 1-25-2 (1) Personnel Matter

At 6:05 p.m., motion by Tolsma seconded by Van Gorp to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(1). Motion carried. Declared out of executive session at 7:00 p.m. by President Wright.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 7:01 p.m., motion by Tolsma seconded by Van Gorp to adjourn. Motion carried. The next regular meeting date will be Monday, January 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Classroom “A” of the Corsica-Stickney High School.
