UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – JANUARY 20, 2016 – 8:00 P.M. – CLASSROOM “A” – CORSICA-STICKNEY HIGH SCHOOL

A special meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 – 8:00 p.m. in Classroom “A” of Corsica-Stickney High School.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President; Chad Clites, Bob Bamberg, Shannon Tolsma, Jason Lagge, Nicole Bamberg, & Don Odens.

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Superintendent; Justin Downes, Secondary Principal; Ferra Kemp, Elementary Principal and Angie Feenstra, Business Manager.

President Wright called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. and a quorum was established.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Tolsma seconded by Clites to approve the agenda with additions as presented. Carried.

Superintendent Updates

Mr. Muckey presented the board with information regarding the school board legislative day, a Mid-Central survey, and surplus auction updates.

Approval of Bills

Motion by Lagge seconded by Nicole Bamberg to approve the January 20, 2016 listing of bills. Motion carried.

Executive Session – SDCL 1-25-2 (1) Staff

At 8:13 p.m., motion by Tolsma seconded by Lagge to go into executive session to discuss personnel. Carried. Declared out of executive session at 12:01a.m. by President Wright.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 12:02 a.m. motion by Tolsma seconded by Nicole Bamberg to adjourn. Motion carried. The next regular meeting date will be February 8, 2016 in Classroom “A” of the Corsica-Stickney High School.
