UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – FEBRUARY 26, 2016 – 7:30 A.M. – CLASSROOM “A” – CORSICA-STICKNEY HIGH SCHOOL

A special meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. in Classroom “A” of Corsica-Stickney High School.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President; Chad Clites, Bob Bamberg, Shannon Tolsma, & Jason Lagge.

Members Absent: Nicole Bamberg & Don Odens

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Superintendent and Angie Feenstra, Business Manager.

Guest Present: Travis Foreman

President Wright called the meeting to order at 7:35 a.m. and a quorum was established.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Tolsma seconded by Lagge to approve the agenda with additions as presented. Carried.

Bus Bids

Bus bids were opened from Foreman, North Central and Harlows for 1 route bus and 1 activity bus. Motion by Tolsma seconded by Bob Bamberg to approve the purchase of the following buses from Foreman Sales. Motion carried.

1 – New 2016 - 59 passenger seated at 53 passenger route bus

1 – New 2017 - 77 passenger seated at 71 passenger activity bus

Executive Session – SDCL 1-25-2 (1) Staff

At 8:08 a.m., motion by Lagge seconded by Clites to go into executive session to discuss personnel. Carried. Declared out of executive session at 8:46 a.m. by President Wright.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 8:47 a.m. motion by Tolsma seconded by Bob Bamberg to adjourn. Motion carried. There will be a special board meeting on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 6:15 p.m. in Classroom “A” of the Corsica-Stickney High School.
