UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – AUGUST 17, 2015 – 7:30 A.M. – CLASSROOM A – CORSICA-STICKNEY HIGH SCHOOL

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Monday, August 17, 2015 – 7:30 a.m. in Classroom A of Corsica-Stickney High School.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President; Chad Clites, Bob Bamberg, Shannon Tolsma, & Don Odens.

Members Absent: Nicole Bamberg & Jason Lagge

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Superintendent and Angie Feenstra, Business Manager.

President Wright called the meeting to order at 7:35 a.m. and a quorum was established.

Propane Bids

Propane bids for 20,000 gallons of propane for the 2015-2016 were received from Farmers Alliance - $0.79/gallon; Van Brothers - $0.82/gallon; Country Pride - $0.89/gallon; Brooks Oil - $0.748/gallon. Bids for 20,000 gallons for the 2016-2017 heating season were Farmers Alliance - $0.86/gallon; Van Brothers - $0.89/gallon; Country Pride - $0.95/gallon; Brooks Oil - $0.95/gallon. Motion by Tolsma seconded by Clites to accept the bids from Farmers Alliance for both the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 heating seasons. Carried.

Speaker System

Bob Bamberg informed the board the speaker system is almost complete. Motion by Tolsma, seconded by Clites to pay Nathan Blom $500 for his time installing the new system.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 7:59a.m., motion by Bob Bamberg seconded by Odens to adjourn. Carried.
