MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE

CORSICA BOARD OF EDUCATION

WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2014 – 7:40 A.M.

CLASSROOM “A” OF THE CORSICA HIGH SCHOOL

A special meeting of the Corsica Board of Education was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 7:40 a.m. in Classroom “A” of Corsica High School. Purpose of the meeting was to canvass the poll book from the Special School Consolidation Election held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, Vanessa Miiller, Kent DeBoer, Nicole Bamberg, Jared Gerlach

Members Absent: Bob Bamberg, Jason Lagge

Officers Present: Vern DeGeest, Superintendent and Merna Bye, Business Manager

The meeting was called to order at 7:40 a.m. and a quorum was present.

CANVASS THE POLL BOOK

After reviewing the poll book and duplicate tally sheet from the Special School Consolidation Election, motion by Nicole Bamberg seconded by Miiller that all looked correct and the canvassing board sign the official documentation and submit to the Department of Education. Carried.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 7:55 a.m., motion by Miiller seconded by DeBoer to adjourn. Carried.
