UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING –Tuesday, May 12, 2015 7:00PM

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 7:00PM in the Stickney School Library.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President, Chad Clites, Shannon Tolsma, Don Odens, Jason Lagge, Nicole Bamberg, and Bob Bamberg.

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Corsica Principal; Ferra Kemp, Stickney Principal; Merna Bye, Corsica Business Manager and MaryLee Podhradsky, Stickney Business Manager.

Visitors: Angela Feenstra and Chris

President Jeremy Wright called the meeting to order at 7:00PM and declared a quorum was present.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Shannon Tolsma to approve the agenda with the addition of 9A Pre School Contract seconded by Nicole Bamberg and carried.

Other Items Discussed: 1. Moving of equipment and supplies between the two buildings. 2. Surplus property. 3. IT transition needs. 4. Bus drivers. 5. 2015-2016 budget.

Motion by Jason Lagge to accept the employment agreement of Amber Bon Hoffman as the preschool-little stars teacher seconded by Chad Clites.

The next meeting for the Corsica Stickney Board of Education will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 7:00PM at the Corsica School.

Staff Review (executive session SDCL 1:25:2:1)

At 8:28PM motion by Nicole Bamberg to go into executive session to discuss staff and negotiations Seconded by Shannon Tolsma and carried. Declared out of executive session at 10:42 PM by President Wright.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 11:09PM, motion by Shannon Tolsma seconded by Nicole Bamberg to adjourn. Motion carried.
