UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – MARCH 9, 2015 – 7:20 P.M. – CLASSROOM “A”

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 7:20 p.m. in Classroom “A” of the Corsica High School. Purpose of this meeting was to issue contracts to the certified staff of the Corsica-Stickney School District for the 2015-2016 school year.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, Bob Bamberg, Shannon Tolsma, Jason Lagge, Nicole Bamberg, Don Odens.

Members Absent: Chad Clites

Officers Present: Scott Muckey, Corsica High School Principal, Merna Bye, Corsica School Business Manager; MaryLee Podhradsky, Stickney School Business Manager.

Guest Present: Kris VanZee, Globe Reporter

President Wright called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. and a quorum was established.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Bob Bamberg seconded by Jason Lagge to approve the agenda with the additions as presented. Carried.

Certified Staff Contracts

Motion by Shannon Tolsma seconded by Nicole Bamberg to issue contracts to the following Corsica-Stickney certified staff for the 2015-2016 school year – Mike Tuschen, Jason Broughton, Carrie Kafka, Christina Strid, Wade Gall, Bob Dunwoody, Heather Hanson, Mark Joachim, Sue DeBoer, Sheryl Muckey, Karla VandenBerge, Stacey Hosman, Michelle Koch, Allyson Waldner, Donna Noteboom, Vickie Guenthner, Kristine Gillette, Craig Wixon, Kristie Clark, Lorisa Broughton, Chris Bosma and Jacque Boyle. Motion carried. Amendments to these contracts will be made following the completion of the Negotiated Agreements for the Corsica-Stickney School District.

Contract Approvals

Motion by Jason Lagge seconded by Bob Bamberg to approve the Elementary Principal/K-6 Vocal contract of Ferra Kemp for the 2015-2016 school year and the 5-12 Band and 7-12 Vocal contract of Mike Davis for the 2015-2016 school year. Motion carried.

Others

Other discussion was held on the advertising of the potential coaching positions for the Corsica-Stickney School District for the 2015-2016 school year.

There being no further business, at 7:35 p.m., motion by Nicole Bamberg seconded by Don Odens to adjourn. Carried.
