A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Stickney School Library.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President, Bob Bamberg, Chad Clites, Shannon Tolsma, Nicole Bamberg, Jason Lagge, and Don Odens.

Administration Present: Scot Muckey, Secondary Principal Corsica and Ferra Kemp, Elementary Principal Stickney.

Officers Present: Merna Bye, Corsica Business Manager and MaryLee Podhradsky, Stickney Business Manager.

President Jeremy Wright called the meeting to order and a quorum was established.

Motion Bob Bamberg second Nicole Bamberg to approve the agenda as printed. Motion carried.

Motion Chad Clites second Jason Lagge to approve the 2015-2016 calendar as printed: August 19, 2015 through October 20, 2015 First 9 weeks, October 21, 2015 through December 18, 2015 Second 9 weeks, December 19, 2015 through March 9, 2016 Third 9 weeks and March 10, 2016 through May 18, 2016 Fourth 9 weeks. Motion carried.

Motion Shannon Tolsma second Nicole Bamberg to approve the Class Structure for the Corsica Stickney School as follows: kindergarten through 6 grade in Stickney, 7 and 8 as Junior High and 9 through 12 as high school to be in Corsica. Motion carried.

Motion Janson Lagge second Nicole Bamberg to approve the minutes of the following Corsica Stickney Board of Education January 12, 14, and 27, 2015 and February 4, 2015. Motion carried.

Executive Session – SDCL 1:25:2:1)

At7:38PM motion by Jason Lagge seconded Bob Bamberg by to go into executive session to review recall notices to be issued to Certified Employees. Motion carried.

Declared out of executive session by President Wright at 11:15PM.

Motion Shannon Tolsma second Nicole Bamberg to issue Recall Notices to the following Certified Employees: Chris Bosma, Jacqueline Boyle, Jason Broughton, Lorisa Broughton, Kristie Clark, Sue De Boer, Robert Dunwoody, Wade Gall, Kristine Gillette, Vickie Guenthner, Heather Hanson, Stacey Hosman, Mark Joachim, Carrie Kafka, Ferra Kemp, Michelle Koch, Scott Muckey, Sheryl Muckey, Donna Noteboom, Christina Strid, Michael Tuschen, Karla Vanden Berge, Allyson Waldner, and Craig Wixon. Motion carried.

Adjourn

There being no further business at11:20PM, motion by Shannon Tolsma seconded by Bob Bamberg to adjourn. Motion carried
