UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF THE JOINT PUBLIC MEETING OF THE

CORSICA BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE STICKNEY BOARD OF EDUCATION

MONDAY, APRIL 21, 2014 – 7:00 PM. – CORSICA HIGH SCHOOL GYM

A Joint Public Meeting of the Corsica and Stickney Boards of Education was held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Corsica High School Gym. Purpose of this meeting was to continue the discussion of the proposed 2015-2016 consolidation of the two districts.

Member Present: Jeremy Wright, Bob Bamberg, Vanessa Miiller, Jason Lagge, Nicole Bamberg, Jared Gerlach.

Members Absent: Kent DeBoer

Officers Present: Vern DeGeest, Superintendent; Scott Muckey, Principal and Merna Bye, Business Manager.

President Jeremy Wright called the meeting of the Corsica Board to order at 7:08 p.m. and a quorum was present.

President Lloyd Persson called the meeting of the Stickney Board to order at 7:08 p.m. and a quorum was present.

Both Board Presidents introduced their respective board members and welcomed those in attendance.

Approve Agenda

Motion by Lagge seconded by Nicole Bamberg to approve the agenda as presented.

Consolidated Plan

A copy of the proposed 2015-2016 Consolidated Plan of the Corsica School District and the Stickney School District was presented for discussion. Questions were answered by both the district’s board presidents.

Adjourn

There being no further business, at 7:50 p.m., motion by Bob Bamberg seconded by Gerlach to adjourn.

Motion Carried.
